How I help

Coaching that starts with you

Together we take the steps to reach your goals. No cookie-cutter plans, just real guidance from someone who has done it.

One-on-one coaching

We work together, just the two of us, so the plan fits your life, your goals, and your pace.

Getting to the why

We look at the root causes behind how you feel and why you are where you are, so you can move forward with purpose.

Nutrition that works

What you feed your body matters. I share the nutrition that changed my life, including moringa, and help you find what works for you.

Clarity through the noise

There is so much misinformation out there. I help you sort through it and focus on simple strategies you can actually keep.

Are you ready for change and to live your best life?

Are you willing to put in the effort and understand why you are where you are?

Do you have a vision of where you would like to be?

Our health is our greatest wealth. I know you’ve heard it again and again. But when you don’t have your health, it’s the one thing you wish for.

I understand where you are, because my own lifestyle and choices led me to obesity and serious health concerns. At 5’4”, I once weighed 225 pounds. I hated my life at that weight. I remember holding my breath just to bend over and tie my shoes. Most everyday things were a struggle because my knees and back hurt.

As a young person, I was on antibiotics again and again for strep throat until my tonsils were finally removed. Later in life, when half of my thyroid was removed, I was told I’d be on medication for the rest of my life.

Growing up, I also watched food and lifestyle slowly take away my mom’s abilities, and eventually her life. She was diabetic, and when her kidneys failed she spent 11 years on dialysis. She didn’t like her life circumstances and chose July 4, 2012, Independence Day of all days, to be her last day on dialysis. My dear mom passed that July. Losing her was hard.

That time in my life was also my “aha” moment. I needed to lose weight. My family’s medical history includes so many major things: Alzheimer’s, cancer, depression, diabetes, heart disease, stroke. You name it, it’s likely in my family. I have dealt with acid reflux (GERD), IBS, and a stomach that didn’t do its job. I was told to take medication for it, but after reading the side effects I chose not to. I have also dealt with debilitating depression stemming from a very dysfunctional childhood.

My body has been through a lot. I’ve been in five rear-end car accidents (after the first one, I thought I’d have back pain for life). I also had an ATV accident that broke my first and only bone, my collarbone, and punctured my lung. Meds, meds and more meds.

Thankfully, I am on no meds today!

I’m in my 60s, and I can tell you I feel better now than I did at 30. What made the difference? Nutrition. That is the key to wellness. After my mom passed, I was introduced to moringa, a nutrient-rich plant, and it changed my life. My pain diminished, I lost the weight, and I will never look back.

I now know the key to thriving, and I’d love the opportunity to help you get there too! I have worn many hats in this lifetime, and life has led me to become a Certified Health Coach. I strive to be my best self every day, and as your coach, I’ll guide you toward a vibrant life where you can thrive.

They say food is medicine, and I am living proof that what you feed your body matters. My digestion is normal, and I have not been on medication in years. I am proud of that. If you have ever felt alone or unsure of what to do, I hear you! Together we can sort through all of it.

Your wellness is literally in your hands. Please don’t wait for a diagnosis. The time to act is now.
